Spring Evaluation Policy
Player evaluations allow coaches from the Coach Pitch Divisions and above to see players in action so they can better assess their skills prior to the team drafts. The evaluation process is used to help form more equal teams in each division to allow for a better experience for all players in all divisions. All players who participate in evaluations are selected for a team.
Here is some important information to remember about evaluations:
- Players LEAGUE AGES 4 (t-ball division) do not need to attend evaluations.
- Players only need to attend evaluations to be considered for the coach pitch division and above.
- Players that played in a previous Intermediate (formally Majors) Division spring season and wish to remain on the same team do not need to attend evaluations, unless they are LEAGUE AGE 13. These players are considered returning players. Anyone who is league age 13 will be evaluated based on their skill level to determine if they will play in the Intermediate 50/70 Division or the Juniors Division. Please note that returning player status is designated only when a player plays in the Intermediate Division spring season. Play during a Intermediate Division fall season does not qualify a player for returning player status.
Players must register prior to the last evaluation date. Players REQUIRED to participate in evaluation (tryouts).
