Manager, Assistant Coach, and/or Team Mom Selection Process

Want to be a Little League manager, assistant coach or team mom? The selection process starts with prospective managers, assistant coaches and/or team moms registering for the current season.

Prospective managers will be interviewed by the SFLL Board of Directors. The number of teams needed in each division is then determined based on player registration and the SFLL Board of Directors will choose managers for each division.

The managers will choose their assistant coaches and team moms with the approval of the Board of Directors. You are not guaranteed to be a manager, assistant coach or team mom of a team just because you complete the application.

All Clinics, Courses, and background checks are a REQUIREMENT to be eligible to manage a team and even then you are not guaranteed a managing, assisting or team mom position.

MANAGER, COACH, & TEAM MOM REGISTRATION

If you are interested in coaching or being a team mom this spring season, please be sure to register using the sign-up option below. It is REQUIRED to sign up in order to be considered as a manager, assistant coach, or team mom. If you do not complete the registration process, you WILL NOT be eligible to coach or be a team mom.

When you sign up, you agree to a background check, which will be sent to your email. Completing this background check is also a requirement to manage, assist with coaching, or be the team mom and failure to complete it will prevent you from volunteering in these roles.

Please note that completing the sign-up, courses, and background check does not guarantee selection as a manager, coach, or team mom. Selection depends on the number of players and the teams we are able to form for the upcoming Spring Season.

The registration deadline is January 10, 2025, so please be sure to sign up as soon as possible.

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer with our League! Your support is greatly appreciated!
